Hi Everyone! Today's post is not creative (at least not in the papercrafting sense). I thought I would post some belly pictures of me and tell a little more about myself. My husband and I already have 4 little blessings. Well, I can't believe how excited I (we) am (are) to be expecting another one! I love being a mom and wife:)
I know the heart thing is overdone, but we had to take one anyways.
I don't know why these pictures are showing up so small, but there you have 'em! Have a good day!

Altered Soap Container
Hey all! Today I though I would post one of my all-time favourite projects. This is an old coffee tin (925gram size) that I repurposed into a handy container for my laundry soap. I like to get my laundry soap from the girls at www.greengals.ca and it fits perfectly into this tin. I got the idea from a magazine that was covering coffee tins and using them to hold rolls of wrapping paper. When I held a workshop to make these, some of my creative ladies turned them into "Lost Sock" corrals and candy bins.
Did I mention that I love my laundry room? I also love doing the laundry (I'm weird like that:).
Materials used:
clean 925g coffee tin
Mod Podge and brush
Paper: Wings (retired) from CTMH, Colonail White and Black cardstock
Stamps: Bohemian Alphabet
Embellishments: Opaque Pearls, twine, ribbon, Popdots.
By the way, I might have another Altered Soap Container workshop so if you have empty coffee tins, please save them:)

Cute Little Card Set
Hi, there! It's time already for another post. Here's a set of cards I made the other day using some retired paper from Close to my Heart. This set is a lot of fun to make and it doesn't take all that long to do. I found a tutorial online from a Stampin' Up consultant, but I can't remember her name (sorry:)).
Materials used:
Paper: Wings (retired), Colonial White cardstock
Stamps: Remarkable Wreath
Embellishments: Opaque Pearls, jute, black ribbon.
Feel free to try this at home; it's not too hard. The cards are 4 x 4. The holder is 5 x 11.
Have fun!

Mojo Monday
Hi Everyone! This is the first time that I've ever tried a sketch from a blog called Mojo Monday. Every week these talented ladies put out another sketch to try-usually for fun, sometimes for prizes. I thought I'd share with you my first try. I used up some old papers that I had in my scrap-box and some felt pieces I recently got from a friend who went to a Stampin' Up party. I also used CTMH's birthday stamp called: Card Chatter-Birthday.
Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Wooden Letters
Good Day to You! Today I would like to share with you my newest venture. I've been making these wooden letters as baby gifts for people. I would love to sell more, but we'll have to see what happens.
For these cute letters I used 6" wooden letters from www.woodenletters.net, Fanfare paper from Close to my Heart, It's a Zoo stamp set, various buttons, ribbon and jute. The paper is glued on with Mod Podge. These are so much fun to make.

My first Artwork post!
Oh, dear, what to choose for my first artwork post?? This is a tough question. I think I'll go with... oh, I got it! Since we are expecting number 5 in April, here is a baby card I recently made.
We don't know what we're having and we don't intend to find out, but with 3 pinks and 1 blue already, maybe you can guess what we're kinda hoping for:)
Thanks for popping by!

Wow-I did it!
Hello, there! I can't believe I'm posting in my own blog! This is amazing for me because I am so not computer savvy. But anyways, welcome to my blog. I've called it Paper Bliss because cutting and pasting with paper is one of my favourite pastimes. My other favourites include being with my family, reading, and {sometimes} giving old things a new look. So for today, I'm going to say thanks for visiting and I'll talk to you soon!
